British Engineering Services Ltd
Martin Castle Ltd has been working with British Engineering Services Ltd (formally RSA) since 2015. British Engineering Services engage MCL to complete inspections and survey work on structures ranging from shopping centres to cranes using rope access techniques. Our relationship with British Engineering Services began when we trained a member of their team.
Corbett & Sons
Corbett & Sons has been a client of MCL since 2011 when they came to us for IRATA Level 1 training. From there, Corbett & Sons has helped to promote the use of rope access techniques with its clients, working in a number of different environments, chiefly accessing UK Power Networks’ shafts in and around central London. A key element of this has been the use of the Fall Protection and Rescue System which MCL has installed in a number of shafts. We have also trained relevant staff in its use via an IOSH approved course. We continue to provide rescue cover, supervision and training to Corbett & Sons.
MCL’s relationship with Global Erection Sign Services Ltd is built around the IRATA training that we have been providing to their technicians since 2011. MCL trains GESS operatives at their premises in Cambridgeshire.
BBC’s The One Show
MCL provided consultancy and technical support for the segment “The Night Climbers of Cambridge” on the BBC’s programme The One Show, 10th October 2016. We installed a fall protection system, provided training and onsite coordination as part of filming work which required working at height techniques.
St Clere Estate
The St Clere Estate in Kemsing, Kent has been a client of MCL since 2012. We provide a variety of working at height courses for the Estate employees and continue to revalidate their training qualifications on an annual basis. We have also installed a KeeLine Horizontal Lifeline System on the roof of the main house to allow access to the roof and carry out maintenance.
Fern Communications engaged MCL to carry out a structural inspection of a 70 metre mast located on the Suffolk coast. Once this was complete, Fern Communications used MCL technicians to install antenna on the mast. Spectacular photographs of the area can be found in our gallery.
